Graham Appraisal leads the pack when it comes to technology

At Graham Appraisal, we have a confession to make: We always have the latest geeky gadgets. We use the best and newest technology around to complete your appraisal without sacrificing quality or accuracy.

If you asked enough appraisers, most would agree that appraising is more complicated than it used to be. Cutting corners on analysis isn't an option for an ethical appraiser. So, we've found that the best place to save time is in our our workflow. The appraisers that have always adapted to new technology have been the ones able to bring their customers more accurate reports, better customer service and faster turnaround times.

Looking for an appraiser that knows how to use technology to their advantage? Contact Graham Appraisal today!

Ordering and Tracking

In the past, a lot of our orders arrived via fax and were confirmed with phone calls once we got back to the office. It might be hours before a client even knew if we could do the order. These days, when orders are entered on this website, we get a text message on our phones. We can even log into this site from the field and send back an e-mail confirmation – including the time and date for the inspection if we've been able to talk to the occupant.

At Graham Appraisal we understand it's all about "cycle time". We don't make you wait around for replies because we understand the speed at which we get things done directly effects your bottom-line. Through features on this website, we can actually reduce the amount of time needed for your appraisal.

Graham Appraisal is a pioneer in efficient data gathering

Gathering the data for an appraisal is a demanding process. We spend a lot of our time collecting both specific information about the subject property and general data about the local market and developing trends. Once again, technology has stepped in to help Graham Appraisal.

Instead of using paper forms and pencils and then re-keying all the information back at the office, don't be surprised to see us with a tablet PC or collecting data using an application created for our phones that even lets us sketch a floorplan right on site. And instead of using an outdated tape measure, more and more appraisers are adopting laser measuring devices that are quicker, more accurate, and can get into places that normal tape measures have always had problems with.

Using this technology allows us to ensure that your report is accurate. This works to both our advantages by necessitating less time for call-backs and revisions. A real money saver for busy appraisal clients.

Here at Graham Appraisal we want you to know you have ample ways to receive your report.

Delivery of appraisals as PDF files through e-mail is definitely the standard these days. Most of our clients prefer e-mail because we're all accustomed to getting attachments like PDFs in our mail. It's a lot better than the old days before e-mail. But, we've even been able to improve on e-mail with report delivery with this website.

Everyone knows how frustrating it is to lose a file. Or have you ever had problems sending or receiving an e-mail because of the file size? We've come up with a solution for those problems, too.  When we deliver an appraisal through this website, the client gets a link sent to their email to retrieve the PDF. By bypassing email completely we can get around any problems caused by file size. And the download link is good for 90 days. So if anything happens to the file, you can log back in here and retrieve it again without even calling us or waiting for us to get to a computer so we can send it again.

Digital Workfile Technology

It would be much easier if appraisers could never have to think about an assignment again after writing and giving it to the client. However, appraisals are employed to demonstrate the condition of a property on the inspection date. Therefore, appraisers must keep their reports for 5 years in case any disputes or other matters arise regarding the property.

To sum it all up, Graham Appraisal uses all the technology at our disposal technology to improve service. We store every part of the appraisal - notes, sketches, supporting documentation and calculations - along with the appraisal electronically, we're able to retrieve that file at any time and recall exactly what that assignment was about.

We just wanted to give you a little bit of insight into how we use our technology daily. Using the right software, services, gadgets and gizmos allows the appraiser to collect the appraisal data to finish the report faster and more accurately than previously possible.
